Northwest Harvest is Washington's own and only statewide hunger relief agency, supplying food without dues or fees of any kind to a network of nearly 300 independent food banks and meal programs throughout the state. NWH takes pride in distributing a high-end, nutritious menu, serving all who come to them without proof of need. Northwest Harvest chose FGI to deliver a simple yet refined new design image with an easy to navigate site and architecture.
Northwest Harvest and FGI.com have been working together for over four years on various design and online marketing projects. Northwest Harvest first approached FGI.com with a basic redesign to update their "look and feel" and to provide basic information to their visitors. FGI.com saw the opportunity to leverage their budget into a more dynamic and polished site that would attract more donations and volunteers.
Our latest solution, The Virtual Food Drive, focuses on increasing donations through an interactive, socially-driven online environment. The result is a ground-breaking custom application that fits in seamlessly with our community's digital culture. The application allows donors to create or join a group, establish a group goal and challenge others to raise meals for a great cause - crowdsourcing never felt so good!
